 Florida death metal legends Massacre hadn't released a new album since 1996. They reunited again a few years ago, adding a couple of new members along with veterans Terry Butler (bass) and Rick Rozz (guitar). That lineup has released Back From Beyond. I caught up with Butler, who tells us how this incarnation of the band came to be, the recording of the new album, the latest on his other bands Obituary and Denial Fiend, his experience playing in Death back in the day, being at the center of the beginning of the Florida death metal scene and other topics. |
