In the world of metal nothing seems more contradictory than to have religion, more specifically Christianity, tied with it. And deeper in the world of metal, nothing could possibly be more contradictory than to have black metal with explicitly stated Christian messages.
Forged in the furiously stirred kilns of Trondheim, Norway, Keep Of Kalessin’s two-decade journey has been one of constant evolution – from dense, atmosphere-steeped black metal through streamlined yet technically dazzling, war-mongering riff-fests that would have given Behemoth pause for thought to the power metal-pumped anthems of 2010’s Reptilian.

The average age among all the 2015 Grammy nominees in the four rock categories was roughly 46, give or take a year, depending any given band's current lineup. The oldest individual is 69 (Lemmy from Motörhead); the youngest is 25 (Taylor York of Paramore).
